Four men arrested following town centre robbery |
||
|
Four men are in custody following reports of a robbery outside The Galaxy, Luton, on Sunday night.
Officers patrolling the town centre were made aware that someone had been assaulted and had his phone stolen.
It took only six minutes for our officers to successfully identity one of the men and bring him into custody shortly before 9pm.
Once making sure the victim hadn’t sustained serious injuries and was safe, officers were quick to utilise nearby CCTV and track the remaining three offenders who had made off towards Luton Train Station.
Immediately linking in with train station contacts, it was confirmed the stolen phone was on one of the platforms shortly before being retrieved.
The remaining men were located in a vehicle and in custody by 9.27pm.
Three suspects were arrested on suspicion of robbery while one was arrested on suspicion of assisting offenders.
